ADVICE IN THE TIME OF CORANAVIRUS
Peebles and District CAB are still providing a service to the people of Peebles and surrounding areas despite the restrictions imposed by the response to Covid19. There are as many, or more issues that people are trying to deal with, and we are doing our best to provide support and advice. Our offices are closed for the foreseeable future, but our advisers are working from home and supporting clients by using telephone or email to answer queries or provide advice.
The types of issue that clients are currently seeking advice about include the following:
- The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furloughing)
- The Government Business Loan Scheme
- Statutory Sick Pay
- Claiming benefits, especially Universal Credit.
We are still providing advice on everything else that we normally deal with so if you have concerns about any of the above, or non Covid19 related issues, please feel free to contact us and we will be there to help you.
We are also posting regular updates and useful information on our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/PeeblesCAB
If you would like to book an appointment for any of these topics, please phone or email:
